Austin Shaolin-Do Kung Fu and T'ai Chi is a fitness community. We provide the opportunity for men, women, children and whole families to study the ancient arts of kung fu and t'ai chi in a friendly and supportive environment. These arts offer a variety of life and fitness training. Self-disclipine and self-esteem are cultivated as you train with animal fighting styles such as tiger, monkey and praying mantis, to name a few. Cardio, endurance and strength training are interwoven in a safe, step-wise fashion as you progress through the ranks. Austin kung fu and t'ai chi students are constantly reporting weight loss, improved cardio-vascular health, lowered blood pressure, lowered stress, and increased flexiblity as well as memory retention! Parents of our Austin Kung Fu, South Austin and Pflugerville Kung Fu Kids programs are thrilled with improved fitness and soaring confidence levels in their children. The Kung Fu Adults programhelps men and women maximize their potential in all areas of life, not just kung fu or t'ai chi. T'ai Chi Adults from seniors to teens learn to relax and breathe, reducing stress while increasing flexibility.
