Joe Schaefer's Teaching Scrapbook
I began teaching in June of 1987 to 4 students in Bloomington, Indiana. We met in a public park and then moved to the basement of a museum for a few months. I have taught in over 21 different locations in years since 1987, and I have tried to assemble pictures from the majority of those places. You will likely look for pictures of yourself in these pages. If you are not included, I apologize, but as you remember we spent our time training not taking pictures. If you are visiting this page and studied with me in one of these obscure locations, why not email me and just say “hi”. It would be great to hear from you.
Note that since I have to find and scan these images, they will not likely appear in any order at first. This page will forever be under construction as I find more and more pictures, so keep visiting. The dates are all approximate.
